Sankranti

Three days of harvest joy. Bonfires, rangoli (Muggu) contests, gangireddu processions, and sweet ariselu shared with neighbors.

Ugadi

Telugu New Year celebrated with community Panchanga Sravanam reading and the six-flavoured Ugadi pachadi.

Summer Jatara

Our largest village-wide gathering. Families travel home from cities for three nights of color, dappu drums, and temple offerings.

Burrakatha & Folk art

Local balladeers recite heroic tales of Palanadu history during festive nights at the village square.

Traditional Foods & Recipes

Andhra delicacies like tamarind pulihora, sunnundalu, gongura pickle, and ariselu prepared by hand on woodsmoke stoves.
